WTS - AMT Backup .380 - DFW

I do not know anything about this pistol. He belongs to my sister who a disabled LEO. She carried this as a back up, but shot it very little. $275.00 FTF in DFW Email: pastor at fbcirving dot come

I had one years ago for a BUG. I never had any functional issues with it, but sold it when AMT came out with a similar but larger DA gun in .45ACP.

It's a single action stainless gun with a safety just behind the trigger guard on the left side. This is a less than ideal system, different from almost everything else, and easy to miss under stress, especially with such a tiny gun.

That being said, it is small, flat, and easy to hide almost anywhere. It would make a very satisfactory BUG if practiced with enough to be able to operate the safety without fumbling.

In addition to the safety lever behind the trigger guard, it also has a grip safety. The AMT 380 Backup is made entirely of stainless steel so it has a good heft to it and the recoil isn't punishing.

OMC Backup is the same gun before AMT bought it out.
I've had a couple; have one now I'm keeping.
