Gun in the News Lately.

Is it that I'm just now getting back in to the gun world so these stories stick out at me more or has there been a flux of them lately. I noticed that 3 of the 5 headlines on Yahoo local are about shootings of various degrees. I was going to post them here for discussion about them like normal. But since there was more than one gun related story I figured this question would make for a better discussion.

I don't know why we're seeing more of it. Maybe people are getting fed up with having their front door kicked in. Or, maybe there is a new guy controlling the news who thinks it is newsworthy info.
