I know exactly what my AR says about me.

Since its been a stripped lower since I bought it last September, it says I'm very indecisive and could use more cash.

My wisest rifle purchase so far has been my Saiga. I got it for ~$300 bucks in August of 2008.

4 months later they were selling for $600-$900 bucks.:

I'm not in that photo-essay. What about fat old guys who want a do-it-all carbine capable of taking woodchucks, chuckleheads, and everything in between, including those evil paper targets which can't be trusted because they lie?

The horror stories my dad told me about paper targets, everything from eating your garden at night while you sleep to violating old ladies and little girls at the airport.

OMG, this is about the fourth thread I've misread or misunderstood tonight. I though it said, "What Your AR Says to You." Good night all. I gotta get some :sleep

I'm in the same boat. I bought mine last December and it is still a stripped lower.

My only AR is set up for distance with a bipod and Nikon M223. However I set the SCAR up as a mall ninja zombie killer (SBR/Suppressed) and a few other tacticool goodies. Guess I hit 2 categories.

I guess I fall somewhere between a plinker and home defense specialist and operator...22 conversion for the affordable 1000 round range day with all the bells and whistles needed for a covert op and a really bright light to illuminate that home invader at 3am while I am sitting at my computer researching my next purchase or modification.
Chl class for me and wife=$225. Chl application fees =$280. Chl gear for 2=more $ the previous. Moving from sheep to sheepdog = priceless

Well, I really don't know where to put myself on that list. I've got an older, basic 16-inch carbine with a fixed A-2 buttstock and the only "mod" I've done to it was replace the carry handle with a YHM flip up rear sight. But, it is light and handy, and I like it like that.

My AR-15 says I listen good and take it's recommendations.

My RRA LAR-15 told me to get rid of that stock Black BCG and replace it with a RRA Chrome BCG that is smoother in operation, easier cleaning and looks great!

I managed to pick one up last year in a group buy and paid less than a stock Black BCG from RRA.
