Also, they were clearly people who would not respect a leader who uses their holster backwards. So they had to go.

That entire scene scene made no sense. If they already had them surrounded, why would the "governor" drive into the middle of them to kick off the ambush with a risky draw, on a group of armed men, from the middle of his back? When he took that shot, at a moving target from a fair distance, using an M4/AR without a rear sight I couldn't stop laughing. =)

Personally, I think it was a mistake to kill them. More guards for the walls would mean they could push the walls out further to encompass more farmland to feed even more people. I loved the town with neatly trimmed grass and well kept bushes and they even had a gardener in one scene. That was classic.

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

What the heck just happened in that last episode? UG. Almost stomach turning. I mean, at least there was a hefty dose of action... Also I was about to point out the obvious issue with the final outcome of the episode until I saw the "Next time on The Walking Dead" (trying to not give away spoilers). I thought they were just going to pretend that that issue didn't exist, I am glad they are going to send someone to pickup the supplies they need for the newest member of their group.

That was quite possibly the most emotionally brutal episode of fiction in TV history.

And it's only episode 4 of 16 this season - I have NO IDEA where they go from here.

It was intense, agreed. I'm also an Sons of Anarchy watcher--

Between SOA and TWD, there have been 2 heavy drama episodes that just exhausted me. Ugh...

The problem I have with the last episode, is that Shane turned pretty fast. She hadn't turned yet, and no one checked for a pulse...

Somewhere a long the way in an a previous season ... I remember them stating a wide range for how long it takes people to turn ... from minutes to many many hours.

You might be right, and it was probably the CDC episode. Still, they should have at least checked for a pulse (I understand not wanting to check for breathing as it would put your head in a bad spot). After all, Hershel didn't die with his trauma.

I don't think Laurie is dead... the kid probably chicken'd out and Carol will find and save her... so we'll have to wait longer to see her killed off :anamatedbanana
