WTT AKMS for AR-15 upper (trade pending)

Stock photo, I can grab pictures of mine if someone really wants to see it. Hasn't been used much, so it looks like this:




I have a Century built Polish AKMS that I have put maybe 60 rounds through (function testing and sighting it in).

Reason for trade: I have other AKs, decided I'm not especially partial to underfolders and really need to get around to finishing an AR build. (I've had a stripped lower sitting around since last year )

Up for trade is the AKMS and 2 steel surplus magazines. No cosmetic or function issues.....it ran great the one time I actually got it out to the range.


I would prefer a 20" upper, but if you have something else feel free to let me know what you've got and we'll see if I like it. I would also prefer face to face, but will ship if necessary. Depending on what you're offering, we can also discuss +cash whichever way is necessary, but I'm not looking for a $2000 upper or anything....just something reasonably close in value with the AKMS.

Feel free to PM me what you have and let's talk trade. No offers to buy please. I don't need the cash, and if I can't use it to finish out an AR I'll just keep it.

Sorry, all that rambling and I didn't mention caliber? Who needs that info right?

5.56 is preferred, but others will be considered (especially 6.5 grendel).

Details on the spikes? If I like it, I don't mind waiting for a few weeks. It's been a year, my AR build can wait another couple of weeks.

OK, hoping you may be near Houston, I just received this:
20" HBar 1x9 chrome lined 5.56 chambered barrel, A2 flash hider, A2 handguard, flat top upper receiver t marked, mil spec bolt and carrier assembly, charging handle.

Update: haven't had much luck finding an upper.

Thought I'd throw out a wider net and see what I can catch. Still for trade only, not interested in selling outright.

Basically, offer what you've got and well see if we can make it work. Willing to add or take cash depending on item. Prefer handguns in 9mm, .357/.38 or .22lr but will consider a rifle or shotgun or possibly handguns in other calibers.
