THE WAITING GAME- NEW RESIDENT

Post by JOJO344 »

I am a new resident to Texas and I sent my docs in on 11-13-12.

Heres my time line

Doc's mailed 11-13-12

Application Recieved 12-5-12

Background Check Under Review 12-5-12

Whats does my time line look like for a new resident? Some posts say 60 days, some quicker. Just wondering if any one has some insight.

I know someone who applied a few weeks before his official move to Texas and his CHL was processed quickly. He did include a photocopy of his CHL from his prior state with his application packet, so maybe that helped.
The older I get, the better I used to be.

Still waiting ..... recieved letter January 5th asking for official court disposition. Sent those in Jan 29th. alitle advice...... If you have an arrests outside of Texas you are going to have to get a certified copy from the court of clerks from that county. so now I sit and wait again. :banghead:

I'm pretty sure somebody who was arrested in Texas also needs certified copies of their arrest's disposition.
