hello folks, i need a little help please.......
Hello, im a new member here and i have a question. i went to fill out the online app last night and had some difficulty with the work history and had to end the session. i kept getting the you must add work in continuence. well, i assume this means every single day accounted for for the last 5 years? let me explain my situaltion . im a pipeliner and have had many jobs in the last 5 years. now with that said............will i need to list every single company per year, even if it is 4-5 companies?......or can i round it off to the company i worked for the longest for that year. sometimes we work for the same company twice, or maybe 3 times a year with another company or two in between all that. its going to be very time consuming to try and collaberate all the days and weeks for a continuence. what happened was when i tried to list 3 different companies in the same year it would kick it out and say i need to add in continuence. if i just list the main contractors and leave the little short ones out....will they kick it out if i leave out some of them ?

Unfortunately they need a continuous list over the 5 years and dates must be concurrent with no gaps in dates. So, you need to list every individual company and the dates, as well as if you have a gap where you were not working, put unemployed.pipeliner wrote:Hello, im a new member here and i have a question. i went to fill out the online app last night and had some difficulty with the work history and had to end the session. i kept getting the you must add work in continuence. well, i assume this means every single day accounted for for the last 5 years? let me explain my situaltion . im a pipeliner and have had many jobs in the last 5 years. now with that said............will i need to list every single company per year, even if it is 4-5 companies?......or can i round it off to the company i worked for the longest for that year. sometimes we work for the same company twice, or maybe 3 times a year with another company or two in between all that. its going to be very time consuming to try and collaberate all the days and weeks for a continuence. what happened was when i tried to list 3 different companies in the same year it would kick it out and say i need to add in continuence. if i just list the main contractors and leave the little short ones out....will they kick it out if i leave out some of them ?

If the system is kicking out the same company with a different time period during the same year, try modifying the company name on each instance. Example: Jan 1-31 ABC Oil Co, Feb 1-28 ABC Oil Co-2nd Term, etc. If it still kicks it out, call the DPS directly and ask them for some guidance. Although, I suspect that they'll tell you that you have to file a written application if you can't think up a workaround.

Are you a W2 employee of these companies or are you 1099 as a contractor? If you are 1099 list yourself as "Self Employed."
Hello. My name is Red and I used to carry a .45. Now I carry a 9mm and it's getting easier to admit every day.
