one of the BEST gun control articles i have ever read!

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

Yep.

That should be required reading for every gun banner, every legislator, city council(wo)man in the country. It would either convince them to give up their idiotic ways, or make their heads explode, a win either way.

If you like reading about this stuff, feast your eyes on this splendid article on Cowards, Mass Murderers And The American Public http://chrishernandezauthor.com/2012/12 ... an-public/

Wow, that's a great article. FWIW, I've got a little blog that I realize no one looks at or reads where I've included links to some of the excellent articles already posted here. I'll be sure to include this one as well.

The money quote:
So now that there is a new tragedy the president wants to have a “national conversation on guns”. Here’s the thing. Until this national conversation is willing to entertain allowing teachers to carry concealed weapons, then it isn’t a conversation at all, it is a lecture.
I Facebooked it.

You need to read his other articles, linked in that one, as well. For example, he writes about why mandatory training and range qualifying is a waste of time and accomplishes nothing. http://larrycorreia.wordpress.com/2008/ ... g-for-ccw/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I linked it to my FB page. I've been in so many discussions with anti's lately and these are exactly the things I've been telling them, but I'm a nobody. I'm just going to point them to this article from now on.
