Here's what I sent to Cornyn, Cruz, Burgess and Perry.

Having watched the State of the Union address, I am stunned.

Not once did I hear that we would cut spending, not cuts that amount to reductions in planned increases, but real cuts in budgets.

Not once did I hear that we would reduce the size and intrusiveness of the Federal Government.

Not once did I hear that we would seek to restore the Constitution to its proper place in this nation.

What I did hear was that we need more “investments”. The “well off” need to contribute more. That we need more revenues (taxes).

I am not stunned; as I type this I realize that I am ill. Sick to my stomach of hearing from one who represents nothing that I know or agree with how he will “fix” our democracy.

Does the man elected to the Presidency not realize that we are not a Democracy, but a Constitutional Republic?

I watch the camera pan around the chamber and see a host of traitors. Traitors to their oaths of office and to the Constitution. These people do not deserve to deign to represent the nation. They represent special interests, “progressive ideals” and the usurpation of our Constitutional Rights.

As such, I ask you to stand with us, the Republicans, Democrats, Independents and Libertarians who desire a government of, by and for the people, not the abortion that we are confronted with. Stand with the State of Texas, for the 10th Amendment and nullification will be brought forth again. We must stand against the tyranny of the mob and the tyranny of the “majority”.

I am a member of the Republican Party of Texas, giving on a monthly basis and must say that in the main, I am pleased with Chairman Munisteri’s efforts and stewardship. I have no intention of abandoning the GOP as many that I know advise, but please hear our pleas that you as our elected voices fight this tide as you’ve never fought before. Compromise is defeat. Stalemate is victory.

Give not an inch, compromise not a whit.

Best Regards,

Jeff B.

So voting is a "God given right" but he wants to strip us of the 2nd amendment which is also a "God given right" in that context? Wow.. and many idiotic Republicans started clapping during the just vote rant. :smash:
