1000 Yd. Sniper Shot

Post by RX8er »

Here is a pretty cool story about an 86 y/o WWII sniper that was honored.

Background: http://www.shootingusa.com/IMPOSSIBLE_S ... niper.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Video: http://www.wimp.com/veteransniper/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I'd love to have an opportunity to take a 1000 yd shot.

Used to shoot long range, up to and including 1000 yards. Not that I was any good, but it was fun.

Man, if I'm vertical when I'm 80 its gonna be a miracle. Thanks for sharing that! I love our troops, past & present.

Every day I'm on this side of the ground is a good day. ;-)

I bet he felt like he was a kid all over again and had a smile ear to ear for the day.

I think it's cool that other people see opportunities to recognize those that came before us.

Good story, but I knew I had seen it before. Found it here, from March, 2011:

Discussed here: 84 year old sniper shows how it's done.
