WTB: 357 Magnum Revolver

Post by super8neon »

Real easy, I am looking for a Revolver Chambered in 357 Magnum.

Taurus or Smith and Wesson is preferred.
Needs a Large Grip.

Something I can blast 38 Special +P on the weekends, and carry 357 Magnum during the week.

Wow... It's like I asked for someone's first born.

Nothing but crickets chirping.

I have cash money.... CHL and FTF.... They'll be going to a loving and carrying home.

Probably just a very bad time right now. Supply is low, and very few are able to "upgrade" to something nicer, thus freeing up what you are looking for.

You didn't mention Ruger, but I would look at the GP100. One of the best revolver's made IMO.

I haven't ever seen the GP100... That would certainly be an option.

I am looking for something with a larger rubber grip... I'd like to stay away from wooden or plastic grips.

I just looked and the Lewisville Gun Show is this weekend.

I really didn't want to fight the crowd.

Folks are hanging on to what they have much more now than before.

The Lewisville gun show is a sizable one and you should be able to find what you want there.

I'd advise going early. The place will get packed pretty quickly.

Well... Do I go early, or go late in the day to find a guy trying to make that final minute sale before closing time?

I don't think anyone is hurting to make sales in this current market. Go early.

Well... In the meantime, I am still on the lookout if anyone is looking to move a Revolver.

Ruger SP101 .357 Magnum Hogue grips (Big & comfy)- maybe shot 200 times, probably less...

What's its approximate value, based on today's market?
