14 year old threatened with suspension for t-shirt

Post by baldeagle »

The t-shirt said Marines on it and had crossed guns. The teacher took offense and threatened him with suspension if he didn't turn the t-shirt inside out.

The Superintendent said it was not a violation of the school dress code and they're embarrassed by the incident because they support the military.

The sad thing is the student could have worn a shirt with vulgarities on it and the same teacher probably would have supported him expressing his 1A rights.
