Lawsuit filed against NY SAFE Act

Post by baldeagle »

The newly passed gun control in NY State hasn't even gone into effect yet, and already a lawyer has filed a class action lawsuit against it.
The next step will be to notify the parties named in the suit. That includes Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos, and the New York State Police.
And so it begins. The anti-gunners will be buried in lawsuits before this is over, and our rights will be much better defined and protected. Let's hope the NRA is on top of these and ensures the outcomes are the best they can be for law abiding citizens.

No one like a lawyer, until they need one!

I can only speculate at the amount of money that will change hands in these legal battles. :confused5

What flaming hypocrites. They think the average citizen should not be allowed to have a gun to defend themselves but have no problem with Hollywood promoting gun violence.
