Feeding my Garand

Post by mjoplin »

Can't find any .22 lr to play with my M&P1522 anymore so worked up a new batch of rounds to go play with my M1 Garand. Nosler Ballistic Tips look much nicer than the Lake City surplus! 48 grains H4895, Federal large rifle match primers, and 150 grain Noslers in the load work nicely on my '45 vintage Garand.

Those 150gr noslers and the Hornady 168gr balistic tips shoot great out of both my M1 and FAL. I'd like to say they group the best of anything I've run so far.
Cheers!

I "mexican Matched" some HXP for my M1 Garand and used 150 gr Nosler BT and the accuracy improvement was impresive. Your load is one that many have used over the years and should give you good service. The HXP with the nosler got one doe this year!
