Today, 3/11/13, I received a Bass Pro circular in the mail. Academy has not had any handguns
on sale since sometime in late 2012 - I believe that they can't get enought handguns to hold a sale.
But until March 31, 2013 Bass Pro is offering 3 handguns for sale. I've listed them below, in order from
smallest to largest caliber.
Sig Sauer 1911-22, .22 LR, 10 rounds, black, $399.99. The grips appear to be a nicely checkered cocobolo or something.
Taurus M709 Slim, 9MM, 8 + 1, 3" barrel, blue, $349.99.
Reminton R1-1911, .45 ACP, 5" barrel, checkered walnut grips, 3 dot dovetailed sights, $729.99.
For anyone interested in this one, Cheaper Than Dirt (Fort Worth) has the same gun for $619.99.
