A local police chief is becoming the first in central Texas to offer the citizens of his town free concealed handgun license classes.

Thrall Police Chief Whitney Whitworth says he wants residents in his rural town to be able to protect themselves and their families.

So, would it be accurate to say that anyone who attends is in thrall to CHL? :mrgreen:

Not to bad, though I'm not a punster I do enjoy the occassional. My youngest son once wanted to know if Thrall was named in honor of "Thrall" leader of the Horde.

Good for the chief. I'm glad to see law enforcement not only okay with CHL holders, but actively encouraging citizens to defend themselves if necessary. Nice job chief. :clapping:
