"The school board agreed Thursday to hire two more police officers and allow "specific" employees to carry concealed handguns while on campus."..."Etheredge (Board President) asked how the district would select people to carry handguns. Bagget (Supt.) said the question of who carries a gun gives the district an "added piece of the puzzle."

Yep. Good deal. I know that they are looking at 'authorized'. I'm not certain if that means having a CHL or CHL + additional training, but from what I hear, it leans toward CHL + additional.
The board appointed a 'study group' to research possible security solutions. It was comprised of faculty, staff and public There were 3 possibilities they came up with. I might add that they are also going to hire additional school PD officers.

Some of the statistics regarding whether you would feel safer or not, willing to carry, etc... are very interesting. VASTLY different from what the MSM would have us believe (nothing new there). If I can find the stats, I will post them later. Overall, the opinion is most solidly yes!
