Ft Worth Gun Show this weekend (AGAIN!!!)

Post by kauboy »

Seems like only last month they were here.... oh wait... they were
I might have to swing in again. Been looking for a good home defense shotgun. I think I've narrowed it down to a Moss in the 500 series.

Any other recommendations for a good defense shottie???

Is anybody else going?
Last month there was no 30.06. I assume because they knew that the facility was gov. owned and couldn't enforce it. Hopefully, same again. ;-)

Mine is a Remington 870HD, but there's nothing wrong with the Mossy. The only reason I went with the 870 for an HD weapon was because I came across an outstanding buy on a new gun at the Ft Worth Gun Show about a year ago.

For home defense and hunting use I actually prefer the thumb operated safety on the Mossy.

I own Remington, Mossberg and Winchester shotguns and all are fine weapons. Buy the one fits you the best.

Is this at Will Rogers or FT Worth convention center? Last time I was at the Will Rogers show, it was more of a jewelry show than a gun show.

I'm just going to wait till the next gun show at Dallas Market Hall in June. I'm in no rush in buying another toy anytime soon. Hope everyone finds what they want and good luck.

+1. I'm always underwhelmed by the Fort Worth shows - I guess DACA has spoiled me...

I'd love to find a pair of crimson trace lasergrips, but I have not seen any good deals on them lately. I better just learn to use the sights on my snubnose.
