WTB .357 Black Talon

Post by E.Marquez »

Morning all.

I am looking for some Black Talon 180 grain ammo in .357
6 rounds would do, a box would do as well.

This is a specific "want" for a friend, Im looking for this as a gift.

It has nothing to do with ballistics, penetration or expansion..it is just a want for loading in a pistol she has that is more a display piece then self defense carry. Hence the use of an out dated lessor performing SD ammo then currently available on the shelf.

If any one has some on a shelf, or knows of some, Im willing to pay fair market value..... or less :evil2:

Thanks

Erik

Fair market value? Good luck. I stumble across it at gun shows every now and then and it draws a collectors premium.

See what I mean?

Thanks :hurry:

:patriot: I understand the definition of "Fair Market Value" and understand it has noting to do with worth based on materials... But on what price the market will pay... and that a like average price would be fair to ask.... More than that market price would not in my opinion be fair, nor will I pay it.

$65 a box is a reasonable fair market price IMHO.

In that case I'm glad I could be of assistance.

I think I still have some Black Talons somewhere... But not in .357.

Didn't they keep making the same bullet but rename it to something other than "Black Talon"? The SXT and now PDX1?

I had read that SXT stood for Same eXact Thing and that it was indeed, just without the "magical" coating that made it 1,000X more dangerous than other HP ammo. :biggrinjester:
