Any opinions/experience with this shotgun? I am considering picking one up to have around the house.

After handling one I was less than impressed. The plastic shroud over the barrel makes me question just how well it'd hold up over time. However, if it was going to spend its life leaning against the wall as a "just in case" type of weapon it might be ok. No real data to prove or disprove the design yet so it's hard to say.

Don't know a lot about the gun. I am assuming it shoots 3" and 3 1/2" loads. I just don't see any reason to use magnum shotgun loads for self-defense. If 2 3/4 buckshot won't stop the threat then you better run. :eek6
