I carry the XD9SC and love it. It's accurate and perfect in size. Downside was finding a leather holster that was not on back order.
Glocks seem to be great for the accessibility of after market parts.
Go shoot both and see what you like.
Springfield XD or Glock???

WOW - what a response! Thank you to everyone who has replied.
I do plan on shooting both......I think I am leaning towards the 45ACP.
This won't be my first gun....I already have a Kimber 1911 45ACP and love it.
I think I will take a study break from finals today and go to a gun shop to handle them both also.
I will post on here which one I purchase.
Thanks again!!!

Glock addressed that with the Model21SF. It's almost as thin as the XD now. But for carry I wouldn't go with the 21, I go either the 30 or the 36. Or in the XD45 go with the compact model.Lumberjack98 wrote:There is a significant difference in the grip size (circumference) for the 45ACP in Glock vs XD (the XD being smaller). Some people don't care and for others it's a deal breaker.
A few Glocks, a few Kahrs, Dan Wesson CBOB 10mm, Dan Wesson CBOB 45ACP, Springer Champion Operator
