Have just started in sporting clays, skeet and trap. have a 12 g Remington Versa-Max with a bunch of changeable chokes. What do you recommend as best for each. Am also shooting 1 1/8 oz loads, 8 shot. I am really a newbie at this but finding it great fun. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the newbie help.

Well you are committed now but another option would have been to trade it for another shotgun that has factory tubes and add some cash. However you probably like the gun and the Briley chokes might be better than some early short factory tubes.
let us know how it goes.

I know how Andy feels about his shotgun. I know from experience once you find one with a fit that is just right you hate to give it up. A friend of mine had his Browning superposed, which he loved, fit with a complete set of Briley tubes back in the seventies.xring wrote:Well you are committed now but another option would have been to trade it for another shotgun that has factory tubes and add some cash. Excellent service for you AndyC, so now that you have the new choke system you can give me some pointers on the SC course next time I hit Elm Fork.
