Reggae fest
Anyone ever been? Not sure how/where exactly everything takes place, but want to make sure I'll be able to carry there. I'll be working.

Re: Reggae fest
I'm pretty sure I'd never go to that (working or not), but if forced to, I'd be carrying. Not an option in this case (other than not going).

Umm, the majority of Austin's population these days is made up of a bunch of pot head hipsters. Why would they not want to go?
I don't want to go, but $$$$$$ talks.

I wish. I'd make a fortune.

Re: Reggae fest
Imagine a quiet tiki hut on the gulf side of Islamorada. You just finished cleaning your catch at Bud & Mary's and you've settled in to catch the last rays of the day as the sun sets over the Gulf. Looking forward to SCUBA diving a few reefs and wrecks tomorrow. The smell of frying Mahi clear in the air. An ice cold Red Stripe sweating cold drops of dew onto the cedar tabletop. A little Bob Marley playing the the background.
Chill Mon'. Reggae aint got no bad vibrations.

A few people i went to school with would brag and say that APD allowed them to smoke marijuana. I dont know if its true but it is austin so you never know
Re: Reggae fest
Reggae. No problem, mahn! Toots and the Maytals are pretty darn good. Just because a bunch o' stoners dig on something, that don't make it bad. Except the Grateful Dead. (Shudders)

Re: Reggae fest
FYI, The Wailers rocked. Other than that, the smoke cloud from thousands of pot heads, and stoners dropping like flies from dehydration was the only downfall.
And there was nothing prohibiting carrying AFAIK.
