WTB Ruger P95 Receiver

Post by Grillmark55 »

I had an unfortunate accident with my Ruger P95; the only part that needs to be replaced is the frame/receiver. I have done a search on the Google, but so far nothing. I really don't want to replace the whole pistol since everything else works fine.
A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.

The receiver holds the serial number. You may have better luck going to Ruger for help on this one!

Of course, if you bought the whole replacement pistol you'd then have a working spare recoil spring, barrel and slide... just looking for the upside!

I'm sorry I can't help - but I do see a couple (complete pistols) on Gunbroker currently at about $200.

As a fellow p95 owner, I am curious - what kind of accident could ruin a p95 receiver?

It was stolen and I later recovered it. But the punk who took it (a neighborhood delinquent) ... damaged it and covered it up. I didn't see the damage till much later. Had I known what he did I would have made him or his parents buy me a new one. He is in prison now, so I am thinking there is SOME justice.

That was my first thought, but the boss said I have enough guns :mad5 (no comments please!); she wants a new patio kitchen...

Your chances of finding that receiver in the aftermarket are very small.
Call Ruger. If that doesn't work out put it on GunBroker and buy yourself a new one.
