Reid is going to introduce a gunpowder background check bill next.

But they got their gunpowder from fireworks. So are we going to have a background check done at fireworks stands every 4th of July?

Would a CHL holder be exempt?

When is this going to stop and those jerks actually do something that is both constitutional and proper for the country?

Never mind.

I already know the answer.

There are no bills at thomas.loc.gov that mention gunpowder and nothing listed under Reid's name that mentions gunpowder. The article doesn't list the bill number or its title. So right now it's vaporware. Let's wait until a bill is introduced before we hyperventilate.

Since when does a proposed solution to a perceived problem (all by THEM) have to address an actual need? Remember, their 'common sense' solutions are usually neither. But until we see an actual bill filed, there's not much to really do about anything.

As I recall the notion of infringing upon the gun powder supply worked out real well for King George when he tried it back on April 19th, 1775.
