Castle Doctrine changes???

Post by stevie_d_64 »

I just got off the horn with my Dad and at his HAWKS meeting there was a discussion about changes to the Castle Doctrine in the state of Texas...

I told him I have not heard anything about that, did a search in the TLO website, no bills I could find about it, looked here for any updates from Austin we have been tracking...

So far, nothing...

I don't think anything has been proposed, or moving to require retreat in certain aspects, before the "castle doctrine" can be claimed as part of a defense to the prosecution in defending yourself...

So as far as I see it nothing has changed...

I stand to be corrected if I have missed something...I'm still looking, but I figure'd I'd throw this out there for general consumption, if anyone knows anything about this rumor...

Regards...
