WTT: M&P 9c for G26 or G19

Post by gigag04 »

I'll get pics up later. I like this thing plenty, but just picked up a Gen4 G34, with a whole pile of mags and love the interchangeability. I'm looking for a Gen 3 or 4 G19 or G26.

My M&P 9c has 4 mags, box, all the grip parts, box stuff, manuals, etc. pics are coming soon but it looks like an M&P Compact. Round count is < 750, and its been carried on/off for 2 years.

Would consider selling for reasonable offer.

I will have to give this some thought. I have a Gen 4 G19 that I'm second guessing myself on.

I find the shorter grip of the M&P makes it easier to tuck and conceals easier than the 19 I was playing with but it's not as baby as the 26. I think the M&P edges the 19 for EDC just ever do slightly but they are like 1 & 2 in my mind. The only compelling reason for me to make a change is for magazines and similarity of platform.

I'm free to meet at some point central if you want to try it out.

That's pretty much why I've been second guessing the 19. Let me think a bit about it. Feel free to snap up something else that might come along though.

Does your M&P have any safeties on it?

Heck no. Worst feature ever - IMO they only put it on to contend for stupid .MIL contracts that require a safety on handguns.

the M&P 9C is a great shooting gun
Very comfortable!
It is the gun that got me into trying the full size M&Ps and now have the 9, 40 and 45 full size as well!

My wife has the G19 (Gen 3) and it is a good shooter, but the M&P beats it hands down (IMO)

I figured not but wanted to ask.

I believe I did fire the M&P9c when I was sampling guns for EDC a couple of years back and I seem to remember not liking the trigger as much as the Glock's. I would need to handle and fire it again to see how I feel about it these days.

I still very much like how the G19 fits in my hand and I shoot it well minus the flinching I need to get over. I'm just not sure about how well it will work actually carrying it.

I need to travel for work next week so in all reality it will be a few weeks before I could meet up. I don't want to string you along for now so how about I check in with you when I'm back to see if you still have it?
