That bullet grouping in the windshield was from the officer shooting outbound, they were not inbound BG rounds.

Well, that makes a difference. I thought those were inbound.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

I want to know about the background of the assailant. Did he have prior convictions for violent felonies, for instance? Did he have prior mental issues? Because you have to admit that a LOT of people get stopped every day across this country for traffic violations, and not that many of them just start shooting at law enforcement. There is more to this guy than just some "evil rightwinger gun nut" or whatever they want to portray about it.

I have no idea where rightwinger came up. This was a wacko with a gun. I don't know the current stats, but stopping cars is dangerous and we do it every day.

I watched this several times, and a couple different copies of it. Sometimes the audio track was not in sync with the video, which made it appear sometimes that shooting started before he exited the vehicle.
