Great customer service from XS sights

Post by biggyin »

I recently purchased a new to me 1895 in 45 70. While looking through the sights I notice the front sight was slightly canted to the left. I have heard of this issue with marlins in recent years. I thought that maybe the front sight had been knocked, I was not to bothered as I was replacing them with XS ghost ring sights. Upon receiving the new sights and installing them the cant was still there. I contacted XS for advice. After speaking back and forth with a gentleman called Bo, mainly to confirm zero and range of sights, incase he need to change the size of my front sight post. They have just shipped a new clock-able front sight completely on their dime. What a pleasure it was to deal with this company, assisting me to fix a remington/marlin quality control issue.
It is a cliche that most cliches are true, but then like most cliches, that cliche is untrue.

They are in Ft. Worth and they are a great group of people to work with. I have been there several times and always first class.

That's really encouraging news. I'm about to purchase a setup from them for my Win 94AE. They seem to be top notch from what I've been researching. Thanks for posting. :tiphat:
