I might take a drive back down to Houston and stay there for the weekend. I really want an HK Compact USP .40sw or in a .9mm

Has anyone attended the Houston gun show before? This will be my first time attending it, so my question is, are you allowed to carry there?

Carry if you want to. (I am a little uncomfortable leaving my weapon in the car under those circumstances) Just leave ALL ammunition in the car. They will check your weapon and make sure it is tied, at the door. Do not fail to declare any weapon you bring in, whether for sale or carry. I would suggest that you wait until a bit after 9am opening. Crowds at opening time are usually big.
