Depends.....how often does your truck catch on fire!....

Don't worry....the Texas humidity will affect your ammo long before the Texas heat does....

Well nothing melted. My gun wasnt even that hot. I guess the trunk is the coolest place.
The Hornady CD ammo is suposed to have a crimp ring to help prevent bulllet set back. Im going to carry with out rotating for a while then check agains a bullet in the mag with my reloading calaper. If any set back Ill start rotating every so often.
