Lott on gun control polls

Post by mojo84 »

"The polls frequently ignore that gun-control advocates don’t feel very intensely about this issue. The latest Gallup poll in late June finds that gun control doesn’t even reach the top 15 issues that Americans were most concerned about. In April, gun control ranked ninth, but just 4 percent of Americans were most concerned about that issue."

SIR! The facts are irrelevant and not germane to this issue. WE MUST DO SOMETHING TO SAVE THE CHILDREN, like Trayvon Martin the little angel in heaven. This is about PROTECTING the people of this country from those nasty evil assault guns and high capacity clips!!!!! Anyone that thinks that these common sense gun confiscation..... I mean control measures are infringing on their rights is just plain stooopid... I mean uneducated to the facts and should be placed in protective custody for their own good, they obviously don't have the mental capacity to decide what is best for them so we MUST do it for them :woohoo

This is because people realize that all you really need to do is put up a "Gun Free Zone" sign.
Gun control is like stopping drunk driving by making it harder for sober people to drive.

His writings are excellent, thorough and well sourced. Many have tried to "debunk" his findings on the fallacy of gun control and have yet to do so.
