Compact Smith & Wessons...

Post by sailor2000 »

Does anyone have knowledge of / experience with S&W 4053, 4013, 3913 and CS45? How do they rank for size, weight etc??? Went to the big HGCA gun show this weekend to compare but could not find examples of all of them to compare side by side...

Looking for a smaller / lighter summer carry than my SIG 220 but don't want to go to a mouse gun...

Thanks

I have no experience with any of the models you listed, but I've had plenty of fun with my Smith 908. It's basically a 3913 on a tight budget, less final 'smithing I suppose. It's a great 'bang for your buck' gun, plenty accurate and extremely concealable. You'll probably find a better trigger on the models you mentioned however.

I encourage you to take a look at the M&P compact as an alternative. They are available in .40 and 9mm and I have had nothing but positive experiences with mine.
