:nono: That's uncalled for...he is just as entitled to his opinion and perspective as you are.

Chuck if that's a serious question, you might want to do a legitimate research into the effects of marijuana vs meth and heroine. Last time I checked, no one ever died from a marijuana overdose. There is no physical addition that might compel you to go out and steal or commit crime. In fact, marijuana users are much more likely to be compelled to do very little. How can you compare to meth or heroine? It's not 1950 anymore.

Of course, it's not good for you, just like alcohol. And there are some irresponsible people that are going to do it and drive, just like alcohol. Of course there is a down side, but comparing it to meth? Again, how about some rational discussion?

I have to reconsider my theory on homosexuals becoming extinct. I suppose I will just have to go with not caring what two consenting adults do with each other in their private lives.

Sorry... I was attempting to give hope to those that are terrified homosexuality is contagious. Everyone is in trouble now. It won't be long and everyone will be gay... :biggrinjester:

03Lightningrocks , cb1000rider and talltex perhaps your ideas deserve more thought . I seriously doubt that my idea's on the subjects at hand will change very much but being that I'm at a older age if these changes were to happen and be integrated into our society it would not actually have much of an effect on me .

I will seek council , I will speak to my 14 year old daughter about this . She and other young people will be the one's to live out what you propose . I will allow her to read the last pages of this topic . Please put up your ideas in a way you might convince a child that their world would be a better place with these changes in place . I may even let her respond to you and perhaps you can convince her that drugs , abortion and homosexuality are good and how they will benefit her and her friends .

Bah! Have you even seen the way most of us dress? Unless the fashionista gene is contagious too, most of us are safe. :-)

First off...I haven't stated an opinion of any kind concerning the "subjects at hand" on this thread...just that everyone on here should be able to express their opinions without being put down. Secondly, you assume that someone who disagrees with your viewpoint must be younger than you.I don't know your age, but if you have a 14 year old daughter, odds are you're probably younger than myself and 03Lightning, so I doubt that age plays a significant role in our opinions.

Forum Rule 11 wrote:Off-topic posts/threads: Since they tend to cause the most problems for other boards, our "off-topic" sub-forum is not an "anything goes" area. Absolutely no discussions of religion, immigration/border security, abortion, race matters, or any other hot-button political issues. (Gun-related political issues can be discussed in other areas.)
This thread has gotten far off the original topic of what Obama will or will not force churches to do. Now it clearly violates Rule 11 so it's closed.
