There was no sign last we ate there 2 weeks ago. I carried then. I felt extra safe because there was a group of officers having a brunch meeting.

Funny, I was just reading this topic to hubby when my little one piped in and asked "Is it a picture of a gun with a line through it? Then it's not legal!" I asked her how she knew that and she said she heard us talking in the car. My little smarty pants.

Luckily enough, I only carry (concealed of course) emergency tools. Only in very specific emergency circumstances do they become weapons.

I have been meeting a buddy at an IHOP in Central Texas for coffee once a month or so for coffee for the last two years. The last time was about two weeks ago. Never have seen any kind of gun sign.

Just another vote to NOT educate them. The ones doing it on purpose don't need to be educated, they are already pro-2A. The ones doing it on accident don't need to be taught how to create more gun free zones. As Embalmo said, their intent does not need to affect our actions. Our action should be to conceal and carry on quietly.

The IHOP that I go to in Greenville recently took down their old gunbuster sign. Just clean glass there now.
