DFW Gun Show Check-In - Dallas Market Hall: 6/9/07 - 6/10/07

Post by NguyenVanDon »

Gonna start this one early for the week.

I'm planning on going Saturday, noonish around 12pm - 1pm. Looking to trade some of my 10 round glock mags for a 15 rounders. Probably do a 2 for 1 trade. Hopefully I can find a vendor out there that is willing to work with me. Also going to look into night sights for my Glock also.

My uncle is looking for a G27 as his new CCW. I think he's getting tired of his Bersa Thunder 380. He wants something more manly with a stronger punch, LOL

My other uncle is looking for an AR-15 and possible AK. Don't know which one he wants yet, so we'll see what he gets.

Gonna try to get some pictures up after the show, so hopefully everything turns out well.

Who's all going this weekend?
What are you planning on getting?

I want to go, but I just spent 2 grand on a new dog. 600 on a Kahr PM9, got in a wreck on Friday, so 250 more for the deductible. I'm officially tired of spending money for a little while.

Rescued a dog from the SPCA for 185. Spent another 300 in pet supplies. Spent 1400 to get her trained at Man's Best Friend.

OK, thanks for letting me know. I was just curious. Good for you for rescuing a dog from SPCA. Not enough people do that!

Like the ad on TV, my grandpappy used to say "There ain't no such thing as a free dog."

I got a free pet mouse once for $40.00, a free pet cat for $130.00, and have had a couple of free dogs for hundreds each, even my bargain priced Chocolate Lab, because she wasn't show quality, cost me $1200.00 more when she came down with Parvo. The only saving grace with the puppy was that she was the only one of the litter to survive, so the unethical dealer who sold her to me without notifying me that she was sick suffered kind of an instant karma.

Im not going to be there. I have to take my CHL class so I'll have to use the other day to spend time with the family. Maybe next time though.

thank you. that might actually work out for me(money-wise).
I'm thinking of buying a Beretta 92 for my father. He's retired military (Maj in the chAir Force), and wants the same peeestol he used to have to carry and qualify with. thought it might make a good birthday gift, and his b-day is in August....

so anyone wanna sell a B92 or M9??????

I know there's those sites that list every gun show known to man, but for the life of me, I can't ever get on them at work. GAR!!
anyway, I digress...

I'd love to go, but the odds are stacked against me.

Gotta be in Austin and then a Wedding on sunday back here.
Thats all beside the issue of a lack of $$

We may be out of town in Louisiana that weekend. If we are here though, I'll be shopping for a small revolver either 32 or 38 caliber.
