QB wrote:Like new S&W 686 4" barrel, 6 shot, stainless. Chambered for .38 SPECIAL ONLY (barrel is marked S&W .38 SPL. +P), it is NOT a .357 mag/.38 Special. Purchased NIB and stored in safe, never fired except factory tested. I have an identical revolver but it's 3" and balances better for me so I'm selling the 4".

Comes with case, manual, lock, fired casing, warranty card.

PRICE: $775

Buyer pays $25 shipping/insurance. Gun is shipped USPS Priority from my FFL to buyer's FFL within the 48 Continental United States. Will not ship to California. Will sell face to face in Dallas, Tx area to buyer with TXCHL or TXDL. All ATF/State/Local rules apply.

Method of payment: U.S. Postal Money Order

Please email me me if you want additional pictures.

First "I'll take it" posted on this thread, followed up with an email or PM, gets the gun.

Thanks. I don't know why I waited. I love the 686 and having one in a unique caliber is right up my alley. She is about to join a few of my other "safe queens". Ha... more good news. My daughter overheard me talking to one of the guys about it. Her, my SIL, my son and my sons girlfriend just said they would all pitch in and buy it for me as an early x-mas present! WooHoo!

Wow, beautiful. My grips are arriving tomorrow and I'll post a picture also. They don't have fingergrooves because most fingergrooves don't match up with my fingers

Altamont grips are gorgeous, that's for sure.
Grips came in early......here's my 3" with the grips on. The second pair was for my 4" but I guess I'll be selling those since they cost $110....darn factory grips!!!

A seller, Lorenzo, from one of the forums........can't remember which one. Since these aren't normally for sale (I think they are Performance Center grips) I was "happy" to overpay......ha ha ha. Not the best buy but those are the ones I wanted since I like factory OEM grips. I can provide you with Lorenzo's email. He has other S&W grips available and maybe even other brands, not sure.

Yours are beautiful also and Altamont was my next choice.

Met with QB today. Great person. Enjoyed talking handguns. I couldn't be happier with my new revolver. I do believe I am going to change my mind about the safe queen bit. I just have to have some fun with this. The only problem now is getting together some ammo or some components so I can roll my own.

Hope you had fun at Bullet Trap QB. Thanks for the great gun. It was a pleasure. :tiphat:

It was certainly great meeting and talking to you......yes, I did have a great time at Bullet Trap. Just shot..........and didn't buy a thing.....really I didn't. I'm saving my money for the night sights I want to put on my glocks and perhaps some good holsters. I am sick of all my "it will do" holsters....gonna get rid of them all and get what I want once and for all!!!! :D

Hope the 686 shoots good for you........
