Anyone live in Granbury?

Post by Jim101 »

We are meeting with a realtor on Monday to look at houses in Pecan Planation for a retirement home (used & small). Are there any Gun Ranges in the area that I could check out while we are there? We have always liked Granbury and the areas around there..,

Thanks,

Jim

I can't help you, but I wish you the best of luck. That is a beautiful part of the world.

The only ones I know of are:

http://www.ontargetfirearms.com/

http://www.seguns.com/

http://www.tdsa.net/

But on the other hand I live northeast of Dallas, so Granbury is diametrically opposite of where I look for ranges.

On Target is a good place

That's where I've done all of my shooting, including my CHL class. The proprietor, Jack Wilson, is a decent guy who will take care of you. I haven't shot anywhere else, so I don't have a point of comparison, but I have no complaints.

On Target on Hwy 377 just south of Benbrook towards Granbury is a very nice range. My wife and I have shot there several times and have no complaints..........

One thing I like about On Target is their hours. They are open to 8pm/9pm even on weekends.

;-) 8PM to 9PM? Not much time to shoot!

I live in Granbury. Not much in the way of ranges close by. Indoor there is ON TARGET near Benbrook. Outdoor, Uncle George's Sporting Goods in Glenrose has a small range ( closed Mondays ) and I joined JCSSA near Cleburne ( about 42 miles for me ) they have pistol and rifle ranges.

thanks, George
