You get a nice certificate that says you are an instructor. Your name will appear on the State website under Instructors, and they also put "Instructor" at the top of my CHL License.

Your name only appears on the list of instructors if you opt in.

You can get the word "Instructor" put on your CHL card. It can be added for no additional cost when you renew your CHL, or they will add it for $25 change fee at any time. However, you can only have one special designation on your license, such as Veteran, Instructor, etc, not multiple.

You have to request it on the card.
