Ted Nugent Will Come to League City for Benefit

League City is raising money for a fundraiser that would bring rock star Ted Nugent to town. It's all for a good cause.

League City City Council is meeting Tuesday to consider whether to pitch in up to $20,000 of taxpayer dollars to for the fundraiser benefiting Operation Finally Home, which helps build homes for wounded veterans.

The event is scheduled for mid-April, with Nugent as the headliner. The nonprofit hopes to raise at least $75,000 to help build one new home.
