Wow. No one reported hearing shots? Is it an area people are used to hearing shots? This one looks like it would have been hard to defend against even if the clerk had access to a weapon.

There appeared to be a car at the gas pump on the right. Hopefully, that driver might have picked up on something helpful.

Maybe there are other camera views they haven't released - maybe an outside shot that got plate numbers. If they heard shots and took off and never called 911 I doubt they will come forward on their own. Maybe the $10G will bring them forward.

This location is about a mile or so from the Garland Public shooting range, but since it happened at about 3:30am., it would be not be normal to hear guns shots at that time. Just hope they catch this punk!

I have been in that seven eleven many times. At that time of night it would not be surprising for someone to either hear no shots or even hear it and think it was simply a exhaust backfire or something.

This was so unnecessary. I hope they catch this person. I do agree with the possibility this may have been a female, those tennis shoes look way too big and the person's shape seems more female to me despite the jeans.

I hope they catch this person. It's terrible to be working hard to earn a living just to be killed over a small amount.

The way this went down, may have been personal and little to do with cash. Doesn't make sense to shoot the guy when you are masked if all you are after is cash.

Very good possibility. Maybe owed somebody money?

Not that many years ago(2008) there were two guy that got shot dead by two total strangers for nothing other than money. In garland actually. They netted two bucks. The two BG's walked up and asked for a cigarette to throw the good guys off. The BG's then pulled a gun and shot them dead. when caught they said they were just hunting for random victims. There are some real bad people out there. here is a link to that situation. To read what the bad guys said is almost bone chilling. http://www.foxnews.com/story/2008/06/25 ... 2-robbery/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I'll be the first to buy into that as a probability if we see this same MO repeated. If this is someone killing for a thrill they'll do it again and probably the same way. Until then, this looks/feels different to me for some reason.

You cannot try to understand sociopaths/psychopaths logically. All you need to really know is they are animals, predators, and will kill you over nothing. Are you prepared to be just as brutal?

Here is a story and video that talks a little bit more about the victim. Maybe there is something more to it but this guy sure doesn't seem like a person involved in nasty business. Y'all are right, one never knows but the victim doesn't seem to be a thug type at all. maybe a jealous ex or something. I dunno but this guy was planning his wedding and sending money to his family in Ethiopia to help them out. He seems like a good guy. Of coarse I will end up being wrong, now that I have said it. :???:

Is that a scoped Ruger 10/22 he's carrying?
