I'm slowly seeing another hidden agenda that goes a little beyond the news story. The news heads seem quick to report that the BG has "a lot" of ammunition for the gun they are carrying. If I buy a nail gun, but have no nails, what good is it? By stating the obvious I feel they are slowly getting the intent out that if you, too, own hundreds of rounds of ammo you are more likely to commit some similar violent act. Smells fishy to me.

There was an idiot on one of the news shows earlier today from one of the multiple different gun-grabber coalitions that have sprung up in the last few years (newer group I didn't immediately recognize) talking about this incident and he kept calling for "universal background checks" and a ban on "high capacity magazines" and "military style weapons". None of which, of course, would prevent someone from firing 6 shots from a shotgun that he legally purchased from a dealer who performed a background check.
Facts don't matter to these gun grabbers.
