Student question..

Hi guys/gals ! I've gotten this question a few times, but Im just wondering what you guys would suggest. Student takes my class, but a few days after they inform me their DL has an old address and if it would affect their CHL application. I've been telling them to go through with the license correction and maybe try contacting CHL office and trying the change before their CHL is processed.
Any other suggestions ?

I just tell them to contact DPS. State law requires you to change within 30 days, and most everyone knows it.

Remember it is going to take 7-10 weeks for DPS to process their CHL. As long as they get their d/l changed by then, should be ok.

Chill out and quit banging your head. You have told them what to do. It is now their problem, not yours.

If they're not good at obeying the law then I wouldn't waste much time helping them.
