Want to trade a brand new Glock 17 (Gen 3) 9mm, with 3 mags. Grip is just a tad bit big for my hand.
I have not fired the Glock 17, it is just as it came from the dealer two weeks ago.
Interested in a Glock 23, (Gen 3), Glock 27 (Gen 3), or maybe a Berreta 9mm.
If you are in the DFW area, we could meet in Thurber, about half way on I-20.
If anyone has an interest, holler back at me.

When you say too big do you mean length or width of the grip? If talking width, all the Glocks you mentioned are either the same or slightly larger.DaveT wrote:Want to trade a brand new Glock 17 (Gen 3) 9mm, with 3 mags. Grip is just a tad bit big for my hand.

You beat me to it. I have a 19 and a 23 both gen 3s and the grips are identical. I also have a 26 and a 23 in gen 4. The grips on these are noticeably smaller than the gen 3s.03Lightningrocks wrote:When you say too big do you mean length or width of the grip? Well shoot, I did not know the Gen 4 grip was smaller than the gen 3's. I have the Gen one G17 and I like that grip better than all the newer "finger groove" grips. Many folks disagree with me on this.jmra wrote:You beat me to it. I have a 19 and a 23 both gen 3s and the grips are identical. I also have a 26 and a 23 in gen 4. Re: Want To Trade - Abilene or DFW area
Gentlemen, thanks for your replies.
The Gen3 Glock 17 that I am wanting to trade is a standard model with a full size grip, just like the grip on a Gen3 Glock 22. My son has a Gen3 Model 22 for his duty weapon, we have compared the grip size to the 17, they are identical.
That grip is too large for my hand to fit comfortable.
jmra, I also have a Gen 3 Glock 19, a Compact model, that has the same grip as your Gen 3 Model 23, Compact model. Those grips are smaller than the Standard (17 or 22) and fit my hand perfectly.
The Glock Gen3 26 and 27 are Subcompact models, I have one each of those. The grip on those models is the same as on the Compact 19 and 23 models, only shorter. Even though I already have a Gen3 Model 27, I would be willing to trade the Gen3 Model 17 for another 27 because my wife has taken an interest in mine, LOL !

As far as a Berreta as a possible trade, I'm interested in either a nano 9mm or the PX4 Storm Compact in 9mm.
