Buy a few Hi-Points. Put several rounds of ammo in each box. When everything hits the fan and people are frightened for their lives, your anti-gun "friends" will come BEGGING for something. Trade them the gun/ammo box for something, like cars, large power generators, stacks of gold, etc. Hi-points aren't something you use, they're something you barter with

Sorry but I wouldn't trust my life to one.

If only an actual firearms business could generate that kind of profit on a monthly basis. As it is, I'm apparently very good at converting $200 of monthly expenses into $100 of monthly revenues.WildBill wrote:This is the definition of a true "entrepreneur".OldCannon wrote:Buy a few Hi-Points. My wife has a High Point C9 for her protection when I am not at home. She is deadly accurate with it at 15 yards. I would not want to be the BG coming into my home with her behind the trigger. We have shot many rounds through it and no malfunctions what so ever. After we have our target practice I break it down and clean it so it is ready if she ever has to use it. We have no complaints so far over the High Point.
Re: Interesting new gun
Hi Point.. The moped of handguns.
On the other hand, I do like their rifles in 9mm and 45 flavors. As another poster said, I wouldn't trust my life w it. YMMV.

$169 for a High Point?
IMHO, spend $289/299 for a Smith and Wesson SDVE at Academy.
People have commented that this Smith has a trigger they don't like,
but when it comes down to it, would you rather trust your life to
a High Point or an entry level Smith?
YMMV.

If you actually read the original post, you would see that this was not bought for self-defense.surprise_i'm_armed wrote:$169 for a High Point?
