To Carry or Not to Carry....
I have a question about carrying at work. I have a full time job at a hospital as a infectious disease pharmacist. I am paid salary but for some reason only get about 20-25 hrs a week.
So I am bored most the time. I asked my boss if I could work as a fill in at community pharmacies to help pass the time. Plus it should bring in some nice cash for for more toys n ammo!
My main job allows me to carry in a university hospital since it has a history of being robbed. Haven't been robbed since I started carrying so I have been pretty lucky!
I have received several offers from a couple pharmacies and went thru the contracts and employee handbooks. None of which stated I can't carry a gun. No signs posted anywhere on any of the stores.
So I guess after the long intro....here is the question:
Should I ask or just carry quietly? If I need it, I need it....and I understand my job could be on the line. But its not my main job and wouldn't affect my lifestyle at all. I would just go back to being bored.
Thanks in advance!

Re: To Carry or Not to Carry....
Carry quietly. Asking leads to HR, HR leads to legal and insurance, which leads to policies explicitly banning firearms. Don't ask, don't tell. If there's no policy against carrying, then count your blessings and be silently thankful.HEMIzygote wrote:I have a question about carrying at work.
