Finally did it!!!

Post by HOSSISFREE »

I was finally able to get the carry piece I have been dreaming about!

Kimber Tactical Ultra II with Tucker holster and mag carrier.

Now I get to start buying holsters again....

Any recommendations for carrying a 3" 1911?

Beautiful gun...and wise choice with the Kimber! I have a 4" and recommend a Milt Sparks holster. I specifically carry the VMII and love it.

Nice weapon! You're right; for each new one, at least 3 or 4 holsters seem to be brought by the holster fairy UPS, FedEx, etc.).

I carry a CDP in a Tucker Answer or a Comp-Tac CTAC. They both work well for me. The Answer is very comfortable.

I'll take that Tucker Holster and Mag Carrier off your hands when you are ready to get rid of it. Please PM me when you are ready to sell it.

Thanks folks,

I've used a C.T.A.C. to carry my H&K USP .45 FS, but I haven't tried the VMII or The Answer. I looked at those, but went the cheaper route, and had to make some modifications to make it more comfortable. With the Kimber, I may want to take a more expensive route, and get something comparable to the Kimber.

Oh I'm already in love. I've been lookin' at this particular gun for over a year now, and finally got it.

As for the holster...It is ther first of many I'll try, and works well for now.
