This guy has been burglarizing homes within a VERY small radius for the past few months. If he isn't caught soon I am speculating that he will be hauled out of someone's home in a body bag. I grew up in this town and it is FULL of gun toting homeowners. The BG has been shot at twice in the past two months that I know of. Maybe the third time will be the charm!

Re: Habitual Burgler in a small texas town.
Been shot at for what? A handful of junk? He is on foot, grabbing and running away. He can't be getting rich off of his little crimes. What an idiot. He would have more money in his pocket with a minimum wage job, and less likely to be shot. You would think he'd get scared straight after the first bullet whizzed by his head.
Sitting around the camp fire I've joked about stuff like this with friends. What would it take for you to want to be a criminal? I can tell you it would take more than I could carry on foot. I mean like truck loads of diamonds, gold, or maybe a couple crates of 22 ammo.

AND, it seems he is not very good at his trade! the first time someone shot at him he was still in the process of trying to break in! Luckily the people in the home heard some noise and went to investigate with gun in hand! Local cops believe they know who it is but haven't been able to tie him to the crimes yet. Seems like they could get a warrant to search his home if they have any indication he is involved. But then again what I have heard may have just been gut instinct by one of the LEOs.Texsquatch wrote:Been shot at for what?

Seriously, our little communities are coming under attack as the section 8 gang from Pt. A move northward.
Did you hear about what happened the day before? Be careful neighbor.

WOW! I hadn't heard about that one. A similar thing happened to one of our coaches a couple years back when he and his wife left Dylan's and were followed home and attacked in their own driveway! It seems every time an indian ventures into nederland something bad happens lately! Did you see this one earlier this year?

Re: Habitual Burgler in a small texas town.
The audacity of this punk enrages me.
The linked photo shows him parking in front of the house as if he belonged.
According to a friend of the victim's son, the elderly man had just returned home from one of the Louisiana Casinos. He had $400 - $500 in his shirt pocket and about $3000. in his pants pocket. The thug got only the money in the shirt.
The police think the slime ball may have followed the victim home from the casino (45 - 60 minutes) as there was recently a similar robbery in Little Cyprus, about 25 - 30 minutes from the casino.
My 84 yr old grandfather was also victimized at his home years ago; only he was beaten to death. We found him 2 - 3 days later. Never discovered who the punk was though he did leave a blood sample.

Looks like the grand Cherokee he is driving has a plate on the front. That would mean its registered in Texas since Louisiana doesn't have front tags. Probably went to the casino specifically looking for elderly with texas plates to follow home. This trash needs to meet up with someone who is more prepared to deal with him. Give him time and hopefully that day will come soon enough!
