no they ruled the assault weapon jumped out of his car and opened the can of whoop- and loosed a 30 round clip on him

I think that was intended as a joke... but...about 15 years ago there was a case in Killeen where a man was found dead in the bathtub at his home. The police intially stated they were treating it as a suicide by self inflicted gunshot to the head. That was revised to homicide investigation the next week, when the autopsy report came back from Dallas stating he had also sustained 9 additional gunshot wounds to the chest and abdomen.
