Texas Trophy Hunters Expo - 30.06 posted!

The Texas Trophy Hunters Association Hunter's Expo is being held at the Alamodome through tomorrow.
I drove two hours to get there. I paid ten dollars to park there. I walked five minutes through the sun and heat and what am I greeted with?
I big fat 30.06 sign on an easel!

I asked about the sign and no-one seemed to know who authorized it.
I pointed out that, since this was city property, the sign was illegal. The "helpful" person just shrugged.
I was not and am not happy.
I did return to my car and disarm as I had come to far to just turn around.
I did enjoy the show and spent money with the vendors. I may purchase an Elk hunt from one.
I did not join the TTHA, although I had planned to.
I intend to contact the TTHA and express my displeasure.

I also am posting this everywhere so that other people are warned before they go to the show.

The Alamodome operators may have put that sign up themselves. They may have taken a look at the demographic that attends shows such as the TTHA expo and decided that it was 'necessary'.
